Description
The Archiginnasio is one of the most important buildings in Bologna. Located in the heart of the city's historical centre, it was the seat of the ancient university and is now the seat of the Municipal Library. The Teatro Anatomico (Anatomical Theatre) was the room used for anatomy lessons held at the Faculty of Medicine in Bologna.
With this audio-guided tour you will discover the history of the oldest university in the world and evidence of its long and important activity. At the end of the tour, you will taste a platter of typical cold cuts in the nearby central Quadrilateral Market.
