ACETAIA VILLA SAN DONNINO

In 1947, the Lonardi family moved to the village of San Donnino, where they found a large number of ancient barrels, once used for the production of vinegar. It was this unexpected discovery that served as an incentive for the family, which began the production of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar from Modena, an activity that was destined to grow exponentially over the years. Today, the Acetaia is a popular destination for tourists from around the world who want to discover and taste the Black Gold of Modena.

Moreover, it is also an amazing destination for lovers of architecture and art. Villa San Donnino, in fact, was commissioned by the homonymous family in 1911 and explicitly requested in Liberty style. The internal frescoes and the careful external decorations, alongside with gorgeous furnishings and precious antiques, create an elegant and very refined atmosphere.
